Artwork shaped by
life on the coast
I live on the coast of North Carolina, and that naturally shows up in my work. The changing weather, soft colors, and open space shape how I approach texture, tone, and composition.
Under The Oaks
Inspired by the live oak trees in Eastern North Carolina, this collection explores the feeling of being beneath the leaves, watching light shift and shadows stretch across grass and sandy soil.
These paintings focus on those everyday, grounding moments: warm air, filtered sunlight, and the quiet comfort of being outside.
Fruit Stand
This collection is a playful, contemporary approach to fruit, with citrus at the center. Oranges, lemons, and limes are simplified, repeated, and layered in earthy tones with vibrant pops of color.
Painting this series was a joyful, intuitive process — an exploration of color, repetition, and lighthearted experimentation. That sense of ease and happiness is painted into every piece, created to share that same uplifting feeling with the collector and brighten everyday spaces.
